Finance Manager (Retail) for Medan Area
Medan (Sumatera Utara)

Responsibilities:

·         Encompass all areas of accounting from financial accounting to forecasting.

·         Working alongside the BOD advise on potential acquisitions and business decisions made by the company.

·         Managing a team and collating the numbers for the business, managing the cash-flow, and drafting the board pack commentary

·         Controllers direct the preparation of financial reports that summarize and forecast the organization's financial position, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses

·         Controllers financial reporting and analysis of the factories (cost accounting, financial management, and financial shared service function)

·         Having responsibility in stock control and management of excess/slow moving stock and adherence to stock budget, monitor and ensure action plan

·         Making strategy to ensure that appropriate planning and control mechanism are in place and direct the organization’s financial administrative activities and operational procedures to ensure the company’s profitability is protect

·         Managing a relationship with third parties in Indonesia

·         Being a credit control and determination of trading terms in consultation with President Director

·         Approval of all expenditure (operating and capital) in accordance with approved authority limits

Requirements:

• Male/Female, expatriate from India preferred
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree from reputable university majoring Economics and Finance/Accountancy. Chartered Accountant degree will be highly advantage.
• Candidate must have at least 5 years experience in retail industry in managerial level with reputable Indonesia companies.
• The candidate should posses a strong network of bankers to facilitate securing of project financing facilities as well as bank guarantees & performance bonds
• Capable in manage accounting and finance activity supporting all line of the business preferably in retail of consumer goods
• Having capability of handling high-volume financial transaction such us KPI involve, invoicing, collection, banking, reporting, and follow up
• Capable in handle tax report, budgeting, cash flow management, and tax reporting
• Requires working knowledge of accounting disciplines such as, financial accounting, compliance reporting and budget preparation as well as systems development and improvement is essential
• Fluent in English both verbal and written is a must
• Computer literate is a must, proficiency in financial software is desirable
• Detail oriented and knowledge of basic financial models and strategy
• Good analytical thinking and ability to create solutions out of analysis
• Liaise with Auditor, Tax agents, Banks and Financial Institutions on accounting, tax, treasury and other financial matters.
